Sussex Golf & Curling Club welcomes players of all skill levels, but especially wants those new to the game to feel comfortable and at ease when learning to curl.  Beginning curlers can take advantage of several opportunities this season at our Club:

OPEN HOUSE - Saturday-Sunday, Nov 21-22/09, 1-4 pm.  Think you MIGHT be interested, but have NEVER set foot on a curling rink?  This is a great time to come out, put on a slider, and get a feel for the ice and rocks.  Volunteer members will offer FREE beginner instruction both days, with the help of member volunteers who will introduce you to the sport in a relaxed, non-inhibitive atmosphere.   Bring the whole family!

MEMBER-TO-MEMBER INSTRUCTION - Sussex Golf & Curling Club has the GREATEST members in the world!  They are helpful and always willing to volunteer time to entice new curlers to the game.  Call the Club if you would like to arrange some time with a volunteer "instructor", at 433-4951, ext.2.

TRY IT FOR FREE! - We want you to feel good about curling BEFORE you pay any money to do it!  We are so sure that you'll enjoy your first few times on the ice that we'll let you try it for free before you decide to purchase a membership.   And then, we'll give you last year's rates as an extra incentive to sign up this year.

WIN YOUR MEMBERSHIP! - If you weren't a curling member last season, purchase an adult/senior membership this year before Dec 15 and your name will be placed in the draw to win your dues back!  Draw will be made at our Christmas Drop-In on Friday, Dec 18.  See the General Manager for details.
